Paramedical Examination (Field Operations) Updates

Information to all Applicants:

  • All applicants will be requested to answer the following questions to prevent the spread of the virus and may have a one-month delay in their scheduling process. Here are the conditions under which applicants may face further scheduling delays if they answer ‘yes’ to any of the following:
    • IMS will not collect any specimen for such applicants currently undergoing any COVID-19 symptoms (Flu-like symptoms, Fever-like symptoms, and respiratory distress) or COVID-19 positive result.
    • If the applicant has traveled within the last 14 days outside the country to any restricted areas of travel, close in contact with an individual that has tested for COVID-19 positive,

Common Questions Asked:

Q. How long will the scheduling delays last for affected applicants?
A. At least for 30 days there will be no scheduling and it may last longer based on the CDC guidelines.
Q. Can agents submit preset orders at this time?
A. Yes, but only in limited areas where there is no lockdown by the state
Q. Are examiners going to applicants’ exam location with protective gear? (i.e. Face Mask, Protective Epidemic-proof Body Suit, Antibacterial Wipes, etc.)
A. Yes, all of our field examiners have been recommended to wear protective gear during all examinations in order take full preventive measures.
